Tuesday poem: Circa 1928

This one is via link, and was just placed second in the Ipswich Poetry Feast ‘Picture Ipswich’ competition. This was an ekphrastic competition, where entrants picked a photograph from the extensive archive of photographs about Ipswich, Queensland. This yearly contest, and the others making up the Feast, is well worth looking at for next year, by the way.
